According to author Conor Dougherty, who has been reporting on housing development for more than a decade, outward sprawl has become a necessity in fast-growing metros like DFW.
DFW Population Has Swelled in Recent Years
The Dallas-Fort Worth metro area has gained about 1.2 million residents over the past 10 years, making it one of the fastest-growing metros in the United States.
